Unpack 
Use
You can use the unpack option to unpack a handling unit (HU) in order to reduce the quantity of the packed material or to unpack a lower-level handling unit.
Unpacking handling units assigned to outbound deliveries is only supported for non-HU-managed storage locations.
Procedure
Choose Internal Warehouse Processes ® Unpack.
- Enter the handling unit number. Confirm your entries with Enter.
The handling unit to be unpacked is a
non-assigned handling unit. A handling unit assigned to a delivery can only be unpacked via the delivery header screen.Printing labels:
With F6 Print, you can print labels if you have created your own user exit. For more information about printing labels, see
Printing Using the User Exit.
Identify the material to be unpacked by one of the following criteria:
- Choose F4 by material if you want to identify the material itself
or F5 by HU if you want to identify the material by the handling unit.
- Depending on your choice, enter the following:
- For the selection by material: Enter the material and the quantity to be unpacked and the unit of measure. You can also enter the stock category number and/or batch.
- For the selection by HU: Enter the handling unit to be unpacked.
- After entering the information, choose Enter to add each entry to the list.
- With F5 HU Detail/ Material Detail, you can call up detailed information on the handling unit/ material.
- With F1 Save, you save the information to the database.
