Logical Database for Payroll 
Use
From Release 4.6A, payroll results evaluation is supported by the logical database for payroll, which is integrated in the logical database for HR master data PNP. You can select and evaluate payroll results according to various criteria.
In Release 4.6C, we recommend that you do not use the logical database productively to evaluate the payroll results. Incompatible changes or enhancements are possible in the next release.
We recommend that such reports, which are not called by any other program or report, should only be converted for test purposes.
To assign a report to the logical database for payroll results, enter the following data in the report attributes:
- Logical database: PNP
- Selection screen version: 900 Selection screen for the payroll results
- HR report class for payroll: PY_DEF or a customer report class. Select the function Payroll Report Class
Replace macro RP_IMP_xx with event GET PAYROLL. We recommend that you no longer use the macro RP_IMP_xx.
Note
From Release 4.6A, the transparent tables for the payroll results are filled by the SAP system.
If you want to evaluate older payroll results (that is, personnel numbers for which payroll was run in a release prior to Release 4.6A), you must process the following reports first. To fill the transparent tables (HRPY_RGDIR and HRPY_WPBP) with the older payroll results, you have to run Report H99U_RGDIR_WPBP (Reconstruct Tables HRPY_RGDIR and HPPY_WPBP). SAP converts the tables centrally at a later stage.
