In the definition of the
information structures , you specify the currency (for example, local currency, document currency ) in which the key figures are to be updated.
This sometimes means that varying currencies will be updated in the statistics. This can cause values with different units to be added together in the totals lines of analyses.
If you want to ensure that a standardized currency is used right from the update, you can define so-called statistics currencies which apply across all sales organizations.
You can also allocate currency type "Statistics currency" to a key figure in the information structure definition.
In this IMG activity, you can determine which uniform statistics currency is to apply to which sales organizations .
If the assignment of the statistic currency to the sales organization is later changed, it is possible to set up resident sales documents with the current statistic currency, using the statistical setup. To do so, choose the option Redetermine update group (this also redetermines the update group).
To update the statistic currency of the resident dociments, choose the option Update documents (this also updates the redetermined update group in the document tables).
