From Release 3.0, it is possible to deactivate availability control, once it is activated, for one or more projects.
You might want to do this, for example, if

• you activated availability control accidentally

• in availability control based on the annual budget, availability control was active in the previous year, but it is, as yet, too early in the current year for availability control to be of practical use.

The activity groups of the budget availability control were enhanced by:

• Purchase requisition

• Fixed prices in the project

• Funds reservation (manual commitment)

In the budget profile, you can determine whether the availability control is checked against

• annual budget

• total budget

• released annual budget

• released total budget
