New Functions in FI-SL Table Installation for
3.0A
Description
The table installation has been enhanced by two new configuration settings
for Release 3.0:
- Selection of a program group: in principle, you can define any number of
tables. In order that the programs that are generated during this process do
not become too large and disordered, you can select a program group during the
installation process. This program group stores the the program code for the
tables to be installed. Generally, you should choose program group 1. You can
store up to 5 different table groups per program group. If, however, you have
already installed more than 5 different table groups, you should choose
program group 2 and if you have installed more than 10 table groups, choose
program group 3.
- Currency and quantity update: during the installation process, the system
displays a selection window asking you whether you want to update the item or
transaction currency in FI postings. In CO postings, you can also directly
transfer the quantity in the CO document or the respective standard quantity.
