The following developments are new for Release
4.6C:
- Creating Example and Default
Implementations
Once you have
defined a business add-in you can create an example and default implementation
for it. The default implementation is then called when no other suitable
implementation exists.
If an implementation
for a filter-dependent definition of a business add-in were possible only for
existing filter values, this would been that implementations specific to
filter values that had not existed before 4.6C could not be
created.
To solve this
problem, the filter type can be characterized as extendable. You can create
the implementation of a filter-dependent business add-in directly after the
definition, by choosing Filter Value -> Create.
If you then enter a new filter value (you do not need to enter the
implementation name), the system displays the transaction for business add-ins
implementation. Bear in mind, however, that certain constraints apply if you
use the attribute Extendable for a filter type.
