Once you have defined a business add-in you can create an example and default implementation for it. The default implementation is then called when no other suitable implementation exists.
If an implementation for a filter-dependent definition of a business add-in were possible only for existing filter values, this would been that implementations specific to filter values that had not existed before 4.6C could not be created.
To solve this problem, the filter type can be characterized as extendable. You can create the implementation of a filter-dependent business add-in directly after the definition, by choosing Filter Value -> Create. If you then enter a new filter value (you do not need to enter the implementation name), the system displays the transaction for business add-ins implementation. Bear in mind, however, that certain constraints apply if you use the attribute Extendable for a filter type.
