You can create repetitive manufacturing profiles either manually or using the Assistant. Whereas the assistant takes you through the creation process with a series of questions, using your answers to miss out any irrelevant fields, in manual creation all fields are displayed collectively.

1. Starting from Customizing for Repetitive Manufacturing, choose Control data ® Define Repetitive Manufacturing Profiles.

The Overall Maintenance of Repetitive Manufacturing Profile view appears.

2. Choose Edit ® New entries.

The system displays the screen entitled, New Entries: Details.

3. Enter the name and description of the repetitive manufacturing profile.
4. In the Control Data tabstrip, define the control data.
5. Check the proposed, recommended movement types in the tabstrip entitled Movement types.
6. Save your entries.
7. Choose Continue.
