Temporary Storage Bins
Using the list of temporary storage bins (for
emergencies), you can keep the warehouse functions in operation, even if the
SAP system breaks down.
In this case you should consider the following
points:
- Which processes (stock placements, stock
removals, and so on) can be kept in operation and how?
- Is a regular data extract from the SAP system
necessary?
- What must this data extract contain (amount of
data!), how should it be sorted, how often must it be created?
- In which form should the extract be (on paper
or as a PC file)?
