Creating
prototype wage types
To copy amodel wage type as a prototype,
proceed as follows:
1. In the Wage type maintenance
dialog window, choose
Copy.
- The Test run
function is active. You should perform a test run first.
- To make the wage type copier productive,
deactivate the Test run function.
2. Specify which of the model wage types you want to use as
prototypes.
To do this, obtain
an overview of the dialog and payroll characteristics of the individual wage
types.
3. Enter the name of your new wage type in the
CWType (Customizing wage type) field of the selected model wage
type, and choose Continue.
4. If necessary, change the long and short texts of the copy
wage type to meet your requirements.
5. Select the wage type and choose
Copy.
6. The system generates a list logging the changes made to all
tables affected.
To make multiple copies of the prototype,
proceed as follows:
1. In the Wage type maintenance
dialog window, choose
Copy.
2. If necessary, deactivate the Test
run function.
3. Enter the name of your prototype in the
OWType (original wage type) field, and choose
Continue.
4. Select the prototype, and choose Make several
copies of 1 wage type (make several copies of one wage
type).
You will branch to
the Wage type maintenance dialog
window.
1. Enter the data you require, and choose
Continue.
2. If necessary, change the long and short texts of the copy
wage type to meet your requirements.
3. Select the wage types that you want to copy, and choose
Copy.
The system generates
a list logging the changes made to all tables affected.
