are of key importance to activity output.
Business processes with medium value added have less influence on activity
output. However, due to their high proportion of costs, they could be improved
(such as the business process "Process Customer Complaint").
Business processes with low value added are of little or no importance to
activity output, or are relevant only in case of errors or mistakes (such as
the business process "Cancel Posting").
