Set Up Payroll Journal Forms

In this step, you set up the forms for the payroll journal. The standard system already contains forms that you can copy and then change for your own purposes.

The forms are named according to the following key:

• "<Country indicator>JT1" or "<ISO code>JT" for the page header

• "<Country code>JD1" or "<ISO code>JD" for the payroll excerpt

• "<Country indicator>JF1" or "<ISO-Code>JF" for the continuation excerpt

• "<Country indicator>JS1" or "<ISO code>JS" for the totals display

The standard forms for the USA, for example, are stored under the names UJT1, UJD1, UJF1 and UJD1. The standard forms for Mexico are stored under the names MXJT, MXJD, MXJF and MXJS.

You should also edit the forms that you have copied from your previous release, if you want to use all the functions of the new release.
