Example: Notification in Window

This step outlines how to print a notification in a window. For more information, refer to the R/3 Library, under Payroll -> <Country> -> Subsequent Activities -> Remuneration Statement.

Example

You want to set up a general notification for your employees on the remuneration statement. You want to print the notification in subgroup 01 of group 01 in window F1.

Requirements

You must create the notification in the Notifications infotype (0128).

Activities

1. In the Form editor, choose Line layout -> Change.
2. Create a layout:
a) In the Line type field, enter 01.
b) In the Column type field, enter X.
3. Create an individual field with the following data:
Column Table Table field Print length
1 TXT ENTRY 65
4. Choose Goto -> Window.
5. Define a subgroup with the following data:
Subgroup Table Identifier LType CType
01 TXT 1 01 X

Result:

The text of the general notification (Identifier 1) is created in a line with a length of 65 characters. Personnel numbers and text module are assigned in the Notifications infotype (0128).

The general notification is printed on the remuneration statement in subgroup 01 of group 01 in window F1 with a lenth of 65 characters. The window width must be greater than the print length, otherwise the text will be truncated.

Further Notes

The R/3 System only prints notifications on the remuneration statement that are assigned to the current payroll period. No notifications regarding retroactive payroll accounting are printed on the remuneration statement.
