Maintain Wage Types for Limits

In this step you assign processing classes and cumulation types to all limits on deductions wage types.

Depending on the point in the calculation schema at which the LIMIT function call is positioned, you will need to maintain processing classes 20 and 77.

This is necessary if you have deductions which will require limiting after the cumulation process is over. In this case the wage types must be switched to the RT separately.

This is done by using processing class 77 for these wage types in calculation rule X024.

Requirements

Please note, all wage types that are used within the
or
must have a cumulation type assigned to them in order for the limit to function.

Activities

1. Maintain processing classes 20, 30 and 77 for the deduction wage types
2. Assign a cumulation type and the time period for which it is valid, to each wage type used in limiting deductions.
