Creating Prod. Resources/Tools with a PRT Master Record (Misc.) 

  1. On the R/3 main menu, choose Logistics ® Production ® Master data ® Production resources/tools, and then Prod.resources/tools ® PRT master (misc.) ® Create.
  2. Enter the data on the initial screen and choose .
  3. If you have specified a reference to be copied from on the initial screen, select the data to be copied and choose .
  4. Enter the data.
  5. Choose Goto ® Defaults and enter the default values for assigning the PRT to operations.

If you want to take specific properties of the PRT into account in the formulas for the quantity and usage value, define these properties as formula constants for the PRT. To do so, choose Extras ® Formula constants.
  1. Enter additional texts for the production resource/tool if required.
  1. Save the PRT.
