Profiles for revaluation at retail contain indicators which control revaluations at retail.
The "Counting" indicator specifies whether a
count is to be made before a complete revaluation, even if the stock is
managed on a material basis.
The "Local mark-downs" indicator specifies whether revaluation is to be
performed for local mark-downs, that is retail price changes that are not
stored in the conditions of R/3.
The "Promotion valuation" indicator specifies whether revaluation is to be
performed for promotions if the stock is not subject to split valuation.
The "Not affecting margins" indicator specifies whether revaluations are to
affect margins or not. A revaluation that does not affect margins is designed
in such a way that the cost value is revaluated with the retail value, leaving
the margin between cost and retail unchanged.
Inventory can only be revaluated at retail if Inventory Management at retail is activated for a valuation area in plant maintenance.
All useful revaluation profiles are supplied.
