Conversion of Cost Object Hierarchies
Use
Starting in Release 4.5A you can define a
cost object hierarchy for a combination of material and plant, or for a combination of material, plant, and production process. If you were using cost object hierarchies in an earlier release, you were able to create them for the following objects:If you have already defined a cost object hierarchy for the combination material/plant/production version or for the combination material/plant/run schedule header, then starting in Release 4.5A these are converted into a cost object hierarchy for the combination material/plant/
production process.Prerequisites
You were using a cost object hierarchy for material/plant/production version or for material/plant run schedule header in a release before 4.5A.
Features
The conversion process uses XPRA RK_PKOSA_MLMV_X1. The conversion assigns a production process to each of the lowest
cost object nodes in a cost object hierarchy. If single objects are assigned through the material and plant, no conversion is necessary.
Cost Object Hierarchy for Material / Plant / Production Version
For all materials assigned to the cost object hierarchy before the conversion, the system also continues to show the production version for the production process.
Material / Plant / Run Schedule Header
From the run schedule header assigned to the lowest cost object node in a cost object hierarchy, the system determines the material, production plant, and planning plant. In this case the production plant is always the same as the planning plant. A production process was already generated for the run schedule header assigned to the cost object node during the conversion of the production cost collectors into product cost collectors. This production process is assigned to the cost object node.
For all materials assigned to the cost object hierarchy before the conversion, the system also continues to show the run schedule header number for the production process.
