Define Payroll Control

Example

You want to modify the standard schema XIW0 to suit your requirements.

Standard Settings

The standard schema for processing incentive wages time tickets is located at the end of the XT00 subschema. This schema contains samples of personnel calculation rules for calculating activity-dependent bonuses.

The schema XIW0 contains the following elements:

1. Selecting an employee subgroup to be used for incentive wages calculation (Rules XW3, XW4).
2. Creating a valuation basis from previous periods (Rule XW0).
For further information, refer to Averages in the "Payroll Accounting" section of the Implementation Guide (IMG).
3. Processing of individual incentive wages time tickets (hourly wage, valuation based on wage group)
4. Processing of group incentive wages time tickets (same as for individual incentive wages)
5. Printing of subsequent time tickets
Results of time ticket valuation are generally cumulated in wage types. If you require a valuation of separate time tickets for your own evaluations, you can generate one or more subsequent time tickets for each time ticket. The subsequent time tickets are stored in the payroll accounting cluster in the LS table.

Recommendation

You should be familiar with the control functions for payroll accounting if you want to modify personnel calculation schemas.

Familiarize yourself with the specific functions of incentive wages accounting:

Activities

1. Copy the sample scheme XIW0 to your own schema which must begin with a special character ($IW0, for example). Incorporate your schema ($IW0) into the superordinate schema ($T00, for example).
2. Delete any unnecessary elements and modify the rules to suit your requirements. Make sure that you assign new names to your rules.

Further Notes

Refer to the Reference personnel calculation rules section in the IMG for more information.
