Create Process Model for Subsequent Processing in Off-Cycle Payroll

In this step, you create a process model for subsequent processing in off-cycle payroll. If you run payroll in the Off-Cycle Workbench, subsequent programs are called by the system. These subsequent programs must be grouped in a process model.

Example

One of your employees is going on vacation in two weeks. Your enterprise pays a vacation bonus in advance. In the Off-Cycle Workb ench, you enter the relevant data and run payroll. All further steps from printing the remuneration statement to posting to Accounting and printing checks are carried out automatically in sequence by the system, if you have defined a corresponding process model.

Requirements

Make sure that you have an overview of the subsequent processing activities in your enterprise, and determine whether these differ from those offered in the SAP process model in the standard system.

Standard Settings

SAP provides a model process model.

Recommendation

Copy the SAP process model to the customer name range and adjust it to the requirements of your enterprise.

Activities

1. Enter the model identifier for the process model that you want to copy.
2. Choose Copy.
3. Enter the name of the process model.
