Automatically Creating Relationships 

Use

You can let the system create relationships automatically.

Features

If you execute this function,

You can change the order of activities before you create relationships (for instance by sorting according to work center, status or duration). The relationships are then created in this new order.

Activities

To automatically create relationships, you must carry out the following activities:

  1. Select all the activities that you want to link with relationships.
  2. Choose .

The system displays the relationships in the graphic area of the Gantt chart.

 

There are the following methods of changing or deleting relationships that have been created automatically:

All Relationships

  1. Select at least one activity.
  2. Choose . The Relationship Overview appears. Here you can change or delete all the settings for the relationships.

or

  1. Select at least one activity.
  2. From the context menu choose Relationships list. The Relationship Overview appears. Proceed as above.

Individual Relationships

Double-click on a relationship in the graphic area of the Gantt chart to call up the detail screen for the relationship. Here you can change all the settings for this relationship.

To delete individual relationships click on a relationship in the graphic area and choose Delete in the context menu.
