Creating a PRT Wear Counter 

Prerequisites

The production resource/tool (PRT) is a piece of equipment.

A characteristic has been created in the classification system to describe the wear - see CA - Characteristics. A unit has been assigned to this characteristic

Procedure

  1. Choose Logistics P lant maintenance ® Technical objects and then Environment ® Measuring points ® Create.
  2. On the initial screen enter the following data:

    3. – the measuring point object Equipment

    – the PRT (category equipment) for which you want to create the counter.

  3. Select the MeasPoint is cntr indicator and choose Enter.
  4. On the General Data screen enter the necessary data.

    5. Assign the counter a characteristic with a suitable unit for measuring wear

  5. Save the counter data.
