Activities in the HR System
This section contains activities that are to be carried out in the HR system if Human Resources and Accounting are set up in distributed systems. This applies only if you have set up the ALE scenario for posting to Accounting in accordance with our recommendations.

Up 'HR and Accounting from Release 4.0A' Scenario
If Human Resources and Accounting are set up in the same system, you can ignore the division of activities for HR and Accounting systems. In this case, you can carry out the activities from both sections in the same system.
- In the steps Employee Groupings and Symbolic Accounts and Maintain Wage Types , you make the settings for account determination that are necessary for Human Resources.
- In the steps Maintain Posting Date for Payroll Periods and Create Posting Variants , you make settings for running the report Create Posting Run (RPCIPE00).
- In the step Authorizations, you can set up authorizations for processing posting runs and payroll documents.
