Using the costing application, you can calculate the costs for activities performed with work resources in the network.

To be able to cost a network, each work center has to be assigned to a cost center, and activity types (so called "CO activities") have to be planned for the cost center. The cost rates in the activity types specify how work in an activity is valuated.

The system determines the costs for internal network activities using the formula you maintained during work center maintenance. On the Cost Center Assignment screen enter the formula in the field Other activity type. Generally, the system uses the value you entered for work in the network activity in the formula, however, you can specify other formula parameters.
