Accessing the Project Planning Board

Use

You can access the project planning board by:

Creating a project, changing or displaying an existing project

In the Project Builder, choosing the relevant push-button to switch to the project planning board

Procedure

On the SAP R/3 main screen choose Logistics or Accounting ® Project system ® Basic data ® Project ® Project planning board.

You now have the following options:

Function/Menu Path	What You Should Know
Create project	Creates a new project. You can use another project, a standard project, or a simulation as a template for the new project. Use the With activities indicator to determine whether activities are copied from the template. You can also determine which objects that are assigned to activities (such as material components, relationships, PS texts and milestones) are also copied to the new project. If you always use the With activities indicator, set the Show activity indicator in the project planning board profile. Activities are then displayed as a default when you call up the project planning board.
Change project	The initial screen of the project planning board appears.
Display project	The initial screen of the project planning board appears.

If you want to access the project planning board from the Project Builder, choose in the Project Builder. The system goes directly to the project planning board and displays the project data that you have already opened.
