Editing the Work Breakdown Structure

Project Builder

There is more than one way of creating and editing a work breakdown structure (WBS).

If you only want to work with the WBS...

Go to the Operative Structures menu and choose Work breakdown structure.

Proceed as follows to create a work breakdown structure:

  1. Create the project definition.
  2. Create the WBS elements for the individual tasks or subtasks within the project.
  3. Maintain the data for the individual WBS elements.
  4. Maintain the project hierarchy.
  5. Save your data by choosing Project ® Save.

If you want to work with an entire project...

Including all networks and activities assigned to the WBS, choose Planning ® Structure planning from the Project System menu.
