Währungen im ProjektsystemSome of the organizational data that you define for a project in the project profile also applies to all WBS elements. You can only partially change this data. The controlling area in the project definition is valid for the entire project and cannot be changed in a WBS element. However, WBS elements can be assigned to different plants, company codes or business areas.

The object class is used to categorize Controlling objects such as overhead costs (OC) or investment controlling (IV), according to their business purpose.
In reconciliation ledger reporting, you can obtain a cross-application display showing these cost flows within Controlling, sorted by object class.
A WBS element can have its own object currency, if you have not defined a different company code currency in the controlling area. The currency which you entered in the project definition is a default value for all new WBS elements. You can change the currency of a WBS element as long as no currency-related data has been saved, for example actual values or in cost planning.
