Creating Standard Milestones 

Procedure

  1. From the R/3 main menu choose Accounting or Logistics ® Project management ® Basic data.
  2. Choose Standard structures ® Standard milestone ® Create.

    3. The initial screen for standard milestones appears.

  3. Enter a name for the standard milestone.

    4. You can also enter the name of an existing standard milestone to copy from.

  4. Choose Enter.

    5. The milestone detail screen appears.

  5. Enter the data for the standard milestone.
  6. Choose Functions, if you want to use milestone functions with the standard milestone.
  7. Select one or more milestone functions and determine the parameters for triggering them.

    8. You can only maintain user statuses for standard milestones, if you enter a status profile.
    The status profile or the user status that you have maintained is copied from the standard milestone, if the network has the same status profile as the standard milestone.

    You can enter additional parameters for triggering milestone functions by choosing Parameters. In the following table you can see those functions where you have to maintain additional parameters.
