Editing the Page Layout

Use

With the help of the Set up page option, you can determine the page layout of the pages that are to be printed.

Features

The following options are available:

Controlling the page distribution

Displaying the pages as individual pages

Setting cutting marks

Adjusting the time scale

Defining the margins

Controlling the page distribution

You can control the page distribution using the adjust to page indicator.

You predefine by which number of pages in width and height the display is to be divided when it is printed.

If necessary, the System does not take into account one of the two page specifications so that the individual displays can be reproduced as largely as possible but without distortion.

Displaying the pages as individual pages

Using the indicator Individual pages, you can display each page as an individual graphic with titles. A prerequisite for this is that the output of the display is divided between more than one page.

Setting cutting marks:

You can give the pages that are to be printed cutting marks using the Cutting marks indicator. This is also possible when you only want to print an individual page.

This function is only available when you activate the Enlarge/reduce option.

Adjusting the time scale

You can reduce the time axis with the Adjust time scale indicator so that it fits on one page.

Defining the margins:

Using the fields Top, Bottom, Left and Right, you can define the space between the paper edge and the display.

You cannot go below the minimum margins that result during printing because of technical reasons.

With printers that have predefined minimum margins, the values you enter for the margins are added to the minimum values. The result of this is that the actual margins are wider than those that you have defined.
