Define Consumption Quantity Weighting

The range of coverage of a material is the number in months derived from the quotient of the stock quantities and the consumption quantities. At this point, you can assign weighting factors to the consumption quantities on a monthly basis. The corresponding lowest value program interprets the setting as follows:

• The first entry indicates the calendar month of the run date set in the program.

• All other entries relate to previous calendar months (consumption statistics) or future calendar months (consumption forecast).

• If an initial date is set for the selection (consumption statistics) or a date is set as an upper limit (consumption forecast) in the program, the system does not evaluate any other entries before/after the month specified.

• If the consumption statistics are not in months, the program converts them before it interprets the setting.

• You should enter the relevant consumption months even when the consumption quantities are included in the procedure with equal weighting.
