Use

You can use the application to create, process, or store in a secure in a secure area (storage category) original files (for example, text files) directly from the document info record.

Dependencies

Before you can process an original file with an application you must make the following entries in the document info record:

Define the storage location (path) where the original application file is stored.

If the data that you want to edit with the application is stored on another computer, you must also enter a data carrier in the document info record.

You can enter the following applications in a document info record:

Acrobat Reader

MS Power Point

MS Word 6.0

When you have set the default for the application to MS Word 6.0 in Customizing (Define document type ) then this application is preset when creating an original file.
