Scope of
conversion structure
Definition
Sets the scope of a BOM structure is part of a
conversion.
Use
If the document belongs to a BOM structure the
converter needs not only the original but also other files from the structure.
Here you set how deep the structure is expanded and which files must be
checked out.
Dependencies
If you want the conversion to take place
automatically you must either set the expansion to not
required or unique.
A document structure without a change number
can be unique, for example.
If other parameters are needed such as change numbers or characteristics
values the conversion can only take place in the following
situations:
- Setting:One original application
file is required).
- No AutoStart. The converter
does not start automatically.
The converter is
called using the expansion parameters such as from the CAD
interface.
Example
- If you only want to convert individual objects
of a certain document type that has a certain status choose the setting
one original application file.
In this case only one original application file is checked out.
- If you want to convert an assembly node and
the original application files under it in the BOM structure choose the
setting Completetree.
In this case all files from the structure tree are ckecked out.
The converter creates transformation matrices that are assigned to
nodes.
