Changing Materials Decentrally 

To change a material decentrally in the R/3 System, proceed as follows:

  1. In the SAP menu, select Logistics ® Logistics Execution ® Internal Whse Processes ® R/2-R/3 Link ® Material Master Maintenance ® Change Decentrally.

    2. The Change Material: Initial Screen screen appears.

  2. Maintain the material in the usual way.

In the various sales views you can make limited changes only. For reasons mentioned above, the majority of fields are not ready for input.

To ensure data consistency, only the maintenance transaction described above can be used to change materials decentrally.
