In this step you define restriction profiles for each vendor or combination of vendor and plant.
In a second step you then assign restrictions and restriction categories to the profiles.
Each restriction must have a quantity, volume, weight or value defined for it. Condition type and LB tolerance can also be maintained.
Your R/3 System is configured as an
The standard system contains a sample record for optimizing based on minimum and maximum gross weight.
Notes on the use of the "Multiple" restriction
profile:
This restriction profile should be considered as a maximum restriction that
applies locally. It is used by retailers to take account of larger quantities
that often have to be ordered
In the case of deliveries that exceed the capacity of a truck every day, the
"Multiple" restriction profile can be used to build loads on the basis of the
volume of the truck.
It does not make sense to define a "minimum" restriction (e.g. weight) for a
"Multiple" restriction profile (e.g. number of pallets).
Example: Restriction profile "Multiple" of 3 PAL and minimum weight of 2 TO,
whereby 3 pallets weigh less than 2 tonnes.
The condition type functionality is not yet supported in Release 4.5A.
When selecting internal restrictions, values X1 through X9 cannot be used yet in Release 4.5A.
