Additionals: Application Integration 
Use
When events occur in the application (for example, when creating of purchase order), your system automatically finds the relevant additional and processes the data. In the application, additionals documents are updated which, for example, are then converted into additionals IDocs in follow-up actions. The SAP Retail Store can also be used in stores - additionals data can be requested manually and then used to generate labels.

Additionals data is processed automatically in an application if you have maintained the procedure for the additional in Customizing. In the control table for the application concerned, you have to define the events and the associated follow-up actions.
Features
The following table illustrates the functions available for processing additionals automatically in the relevant applications: SAP Retail Store is not included in the table as you must trigger additionals processing manually.
