Definition
Sets which RFC destination calls the
converter.
Dependencies
Maintain the RFC destination using transaction
SM59 Display and maintain RFC destinations.
Enter the connection type as
T.
You can select the following activation
types:
- Start (only when the converter is running on a
UNIX machine)
Select
Start on explicit host.
- Enter rfc2corba for
the program with its complete path. The program can be on a different
conversion server.
- Enter the name of the computer with the
converter as target machine.
- Save and test the connection. The programm can
also be started using remsh or
rsh .
Note:
You must create a user on the UNIX computer with the name of user whose name
is used to run the SAP Gateway.
Create the file .rhosts in the home directory and
enter the names of all SAP Gateway computers.
- Registration (UNIX and Windows)
Select any program
name (max. 10 characters). Enter the following data:
- Select a destination Gateway
options.
- Select your Gateway computer as the Gateway
host.
- Enter a Gateway service such as
sapgw53.
- Save and test the connection.
Note:
Start the program before on the conversion server, for example, with rfc2corba
-a <ProgramID> -g <Gateway host> -x <Gateway service>
(Parameter from transaction SM59).
Configure the computer in such as way so that program starts after each
boot.
