Executing Mass Changes with Table View 
Prerequisites
You are in the selection screen for mass changes.
You have maintained the selection criteria for the required projects and/or networks, but have not yet selected any fields. There is no green checkmark in the Enter field values for mass changes field.
You are in either the structure overview or an individual overview. For more information, see
Working with Overviews. You have selected the objects you want to change.
Procedure
1. Choose:

From the Mass Changes in the Project System screen Program ® Execute-
From the Project Information System: Structure Initial screen Extras/environment ® Mass changeThe Mass changes: Field view screen appears.
2. Here you can select fields whose values are to be changed. You can also go directly to the table view and select the fields there.
For the field selection, proceed as described in Executing Mass Changes Directly.
3. Choose Table view.
In the table view the system displays all objects for the selected projects and networks. If you have entered new values in the field overview, the system displays these values in the table view. The tab strips of the objects that have been changed have a green checkmark.
You can execute the following functions in the table view:

1. In the table, select the rows of the objects whose changes you want to cancel. 2. In the table header, select the columns of the fields in which the old value is to be entered. 3. Choose Edit ® Undo changes |

Execute mass changes in test mode |
1. Select the rows of the objects, whose changes you want to test. 2. Choose Edit ® Test changes |
All the changes are executed that were made in the table, i.e. either with Edit ® Execute changes or by overwriting values in the table. The changes are made for all tab pages. |
4. Before you can save the changes, it is necessary to copy the new field values from the table header to the table by choosing Edit ® Execute changes. Make sure you select correctly (see above in the function overview) Do this for all tab pages that are marked with a green tick.
The new field values are copied to the table. You can still cancel the changes.
5. Select the rows of the objects that you want to irrevocably change on all tab pages.
6. Choose Mass change ® Save or Save in the background.
The mass changes are executed and the projects are saved with the new values.
Result
When the system has finished the mass changes (or test run) the log is displayed. If the system could execute the changes, you can see information in the log about every object that was changed. You can display the log with one line for each entry, which is a simple confirmation, or with two lines with more details for each entry.
If the system could not execute some changes, because fields did not meet the prerequisites, the entries are highlighted in red.
You can save the log when you exit. You can then call it up again later. To do so, choose
