Procedure

  1. In the Technical objects screen choose BOM ® <BOM type> ® Create.

    2. You are now on the initial screen for creating BOMs.

  2. Make all the necessary entries.

    3. Do not choose Continue. First enter the reference.

  3. Select the reference BOM you require.

    You will see a dialog box.

  4. Make all the necessary entries.
  5. Choose Continue.

    6. You are now on the Create <BOM category>:Copy from reference screen.

  6. Select all the items you want to copy into the new BOM and use the menu bar sequence Edit ® Copy.
  7. Save the BOM.
