1. To copy the forecast result for one or more plants and for a group of materials, choose Demand Management. Select Planned indep.reqmts ® Copy total forecast.

The initial screen appears for copying forecast values.

2. Enter the following selection criteria:

– Plant

– MRP controller

– Material number(s)

– MRP area (if applicable)

3. If necessary, enter the period within which you want to copy the total forecast.
4. You can limit the copy by entering the following parameters:

– Requirements plan number

– Requirements type

– Version

5. To activate the forecast result, select Reqmt active.
6. To record a history for the copy, select History.

• The information from the forecast is used to create the planned independent requirements for materials for which no planned independent requirements are created.
• If the forecast is used as a reference for creating planned independent requirement quantities for materials, the system copies changes in the forecast values to the planned independent requirements.
