Within the framework of the SAP Service module, service specifications offer you a summary of the services to be performed for a specifiec maintenance task (for example, sanitation of a pipe network). The services are pre-defined on an industry sector or company basis in the service specifications. Using the service specifications you can reproduce bid invitation procedures, allocation, entries and acceptances of services in the system.

If you want to plan maintenance activities in your maintenance task lists, that are to be performed by a third party company and for which you have service specifications, you can refer to these specifications in your task list.
