In this trip data entry screen , you enter the general (basic) trip data.

Depending on the trip schema chosen, all of the necessary entry fields for the trip category are offered in this screen.

Depending on the system’s configuration, certain fields are already filled with default values.

The entry screen is made up of the following five areas:

• Trip data concerning trip duration (mandatory):
  This trip data must always be entered in order to create a trip.
• Trip data concerning per-diem settlement (optional):
  This data controls whether meals and/or accommodations are settled by per diems or by individual statements.
• Trip data concerning the main destination of the trip (optional):
  This trip data should also always be entered since it represents an important selection criterion for trips.
• Trip data concerning trip attributes (optional):
  This data determines, among other things, the per diems or maximum rates that apply during settlement.
• Trip data concerning account assignments for the trip (optional):
  Here data for account assignments for the trip is stored.
