Object Types in the Project System
What is an Object Type?
The system uses the object type to differentiate between objects whose status controls are different. The object type determines which system status is activated automatically when you create a new object as well as which business transactions are permitted.
The object types in the Project System include:
An object can have any number of statuses at any one time.

A network may have the statuses released, preliminary costing, printed and confirmed all at the same time.
