Maintain Search Helps

In this step, you can revise existing search helps for purchasing info records or define new ones.

Note
Search helps are valid across clients.

Standard Settings

The standard system includes the following search helps for the collective search help MEIN:

MEINL facilitates searches via vendors

MEINM facilitates searches via materials

MEINN facilitates searches via material groups

MEINP facilitates searches for external processing

Recommendation

Since a large number of search helps can impair the performance of your system, you should check which ones you wish to use and deactivate any that are not needed.

Activities

1. Check whether the search helps included in the standard system satisfy your needs.

2. If necessary, supplement the search helps for the collective search help MEIN.

3. Deactivate any search helps that are surplus to requirements.
