Creating PRT Usage Counters 

Prerequisites

The production resource/tool (PRT) has been created as a piece of equipment.

A characteristic describing the type of wear and tear has been created in the classification system; see CA - Characteristics Guide. A unit of measure for the degree of wear and tear has been assigned to the characteristic.

Procedure

  1. Choose Logistics ® Plant maintenance ® Technical objects, and then Environment ® Measuring points ® Create.
  2. Enter the following data on the initial screen:

    3. – The measuring point object Equipment

    – The key of the PRT equipment for which you want to create the PRT counter

  3. Select MeasPoint is counter and choose Enter .
  4. Enter the data as required on the General Data screen.

    5. Assign a characteristic to the counter whose unit of measurement describes the type of wear and tear.

  5. Save the data for the counter.
