Production Campaign Management

Purpose

You can achieve a more accurate distribution of costs to the orders involved by managing production in campaigns.

Prerequisites

The following data must be created in the system:

A number range for production campaigns (Customizing)
Business process group(s) with business processes if you want to settle the costs for setup and clean-out processes to the materials produced in a detailed and period-related manner

Process Flow

You create a production campaign for a certain material on a certain start date (see Creating Production Campaign).

You complete and, if necessary, change the production campaign (see Creating Production Campaign).

You can determine the planned costs if you wish (see Cost Planning and Cost Analysis of Production Campaigns).

You convert the campaign, which means planned orders are converted to process orders (see Converting Production Campaign).

The process orders are carried out and confirmed (see Confirming Production Campaigns).

During and after order processing, you have access to functions for cost determination (see Cost Planning and Cost Analysis of the Production Campaign).
