Title

Material documents with reason for movement

Purpose

This report displays a list of all goods movements for which at least one reason for movement has been specified. The report selects all of the material documents for which the Reason for movement indicator is set.

Prerequisites

Authorization check

To display all documents with quantities and values, you need the following authorizations:

At plant level, you need authorization to display material documents (authorization object material documents: plant, activity 03).

At company code level, you need authorization to display accounting documents (authorization object accounting document: authorization for company codes, activity 03)

Scope of Functions

Authorization check

If the check failed for at least one authorization check because you do not have authorizations, the list output may be incomplete. In this case, the system issues a message and you see the following pushbutton in the application toolbar:

You can display an overview of the authorization checks that have been carried out by choosing Goto -> Display authorization checks. The overview is broken down according to the type of message, the authorization object, and the plants checked.

The following messages can occur:

@0A@
The data records were deleted in the output list.

@09@
Some fields in the data records (for example, values) were deleted in the output list.

@08@
The authorization checks were successful; all the data you require is displayed.

Selection

On the initial screen, you can restrict your selection.

Output

In the standard system, the report issues a list with the following information for each material:

the vendor who delivered the material

the key for the reason for movement

the standard text for the reason for movement

the movement type used for posting

the complete quantity (in the order unit) that was not posted with a return delivery movement type

for return deliveries, the complete return delivery quantity in the order unit that was posted with a return delivery movement type

The percentage of the returned quantity in proportion to the total delivered quantity

Displaying material documents

If you place the cursor on a line, you can display all material documents pertaining to this line by choosing Environment -> Material documents (for example, all material documents with a particular movement type). From here, you can call up a given material document by choosing Environment -> Material documents.

Calling up the stock overview

You call up the stock overview for a material by choosing Environment -> Stock overview.

Displaying the purchase order history

To call up the purchase order history for a chosen purchase order item, choose Environment -> PO history from the detail list.

Detail list

To display the data in a different format (non-hierarchical list), choose Goto -> Detail list.

In this non-hierarchical list, you can calculate sub-totals over the number of columns you wish (including several levels), as well as totals over various units.

For the detail list, you can maintain separate display variants and specify them as a default.

You can convert the detail list to an alternative format that provides more functions and is more convenient to use. To do so choose the step Set Up Print Functions for Reporting in Customizing for Inventory Management.

Display further information

If you require more data, you can enhance the current layout or choose another existing layout via Settings -> Layout.
