Define Field Selection for Material Document List

In this step, you can configure the selection screen and the number of

fields contained in the

field catalog for the report used to display material documents( RM07DOCS).

Example

For example, if you want to select materials on the selection screen by

their reason for movement, you can add the field for reason for movement MSEG-GRUND to the selection screen.

If you have added a field to the field catalog for the report, you can use the functions of the ABAP List Viewer to include this field as a display variant of the report.

You can improve performance as required by reducing the number of fields in the field catalog.

Standard Settings

Configuration of selection screen

The following fields are ready for input on the selection screen for the

report:

Material number

Plant

Storage location

Batch number

Vendor account number

Customer account number

Movement type

Special stock indicator

Posting date in document

User name

Transaction/event type

Fields in field catalog

The system copies all available fields to the field catalog.

Recommendation

SAP recommends that you accept the settings defined in the standard system. In this case, no action is required on your part.
