Recording Times and Correcting Time Events with SAP HR

Purpose

You implement SAP HR in retail stores using a SAP GUI, for example, or access SAP HR using a Web GUI. You have access to all SAP HR Time Management functions. This is the basis of a SAP HR scenario.

Prerequisites

Time recording terminals are used in the retail store, and data recorded there is imported via a PDC interface.

You have imported weekly work schedules from SAP CAMPBELL StaffWorks.

Process Flow

Employees record their actual working times at terminals.

These times are transferred as time events via the HR PDC interface to SAP HR Time Recording.

The store manager

Checks and edits time events in SAP HR. For example, he/she may need to add missing times. This data is then used for time evaluation purposes.
Records additional attendances/absences in SAP HR, such as illness, leave, and off-site work, for example. This data is then used for time evaluation purposes.
Records wage information that is not time-dependent in SAP HR, such as specific supplements or bonuses, for example. This data is then used for payroll purposes.

Result

You have manually recorded, and partially checked, supplemented and corrected time data with SAP HR.
