Before starting planning, define the design of the planning scenario. Do this in Customizing for Merchandise and Assortment Planning.

To get a better overview of the total planning scenario, the system displays planning data as a network graphic. You can find and maintain all parts of the planning scenario thanks to the user-friendly interface and the simple navigation procedure.

Alternatively, use standard tools to maintain planning data.

Planning layouts, variants for manual planning, formula groups, and plan versions can be maintained in the application itself and in Customizing. This is due to the continuously changing appearance of the entry screen for manual planning.
