Process Data Documentation - Overview

Process data documentation is a component of PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) you can use to create lists of quality-relevant data and store it in an optical archive. In process data documentation, you can archive the following records:

They contain all quality-relevant R/3 data that are collected around a process order.

They contain all quality-relevant data on the production of a batch.

The structure, contents, and processing of batch records comply with international standards defined in the guidelines on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the pharmaceutical and food-processing industries.

For more information on order records and batch records, see the R/3 Library SAP ArchiveLink - Scenarios in Applications.
