Scheduling Results Transfer to Material Master

Use

You use this function to transfer the results of recipe scheduling to the material master record of the material you want to produce or that of the header material. In this way, you update the lot-size dependent in-house production time of the material.

Material requirements planning uses the in-house production time to determine the basic order dates when it creates a planned order. To prevent inconsistencies between material requirements planning and production planning, the scheduling data in the material master record should therefore always be identical to that in the master recipe.

Features

The following recipe data is transferred when you update the material master record:

A setup time is not transferred because the system does not determine phase sections when scheduling but only the whole processing time of a phase.

If you have defined a lot-size independent in-house production time in the material master record, this value is set to zero when you update the lot-size dependent in-house production time.
