Checking Process Instructions

Use

For the system to be able to process the process instructions that you define for the R/3 PI sheet correctly, their characteristic structure or syntax must comply with certain rules defined by SAP. For this reason, SAP provides a number of different functions that you can use to check whether the process instruction syntax is correct. Depending on the control recipe destination, these functions take into account the requirements of either the browser-based PI sheet or the ABAP list-based PI sheet.

Below, you will find an overview of where you can start the process instruction check and which functions you can use. Use these functions if you have maintained your process instructions on the characteristic overview.
